TAKE FULL AND HEALTHY SLEEP

First thing to beat the winter is to eliminate your sleep debt because we need are body to take a sleep of a seven to nine hours which is recommended and in winter we need to make sure as our immune system is fully healthy which is very important to stay healthy in winters.

TAKE FRESH WINTER FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

These are also an important source of calcium, which helps keep our bones strong and also try to go for semi-skimmed or skimmed milk rather than full-fat and low-fat yoghurts with all these things you need to eat more fruits and vegetables such as carrots, parsnips, swede and turnips can be roasted, mashed or made into soup for a comforting winter meal for the whole family.

STAY ACTIVE AND FRESH WITH EXERCISE

Regular exercise helps control your weight, boost your immune system.Map out a new routine at the start of each season and find a different way to stay in shape because there are thousands of ways to stay active. Prepare for winter by buying a package at the local yoga studio or purchase some personal training sessions at the gym.During physical activity, your breathing rate increases which can also help expel bacteria from lungs and airways, reducing the opportunity for colds, flu, or other airborne illness, and there is an increase in the circulation of oxygen to all of your cells to keep them healthy.

TAKE PLENTY OF WATER AND STAY HYDRATED

Even though it may be cold and wet outside during the winter months, remember to drink at least eight glasses of water each day. If cold water is unappealing when the temperature drops, hot drinks such as teas or hot water with a slice of lemon are good alternatives.

TAKE HEALTHY AND HEARTY BREAKFAST

Winter is the perfect season for eating a warm bowlful on a cold morning and it's not just a delicious way to start your day, it also helps boost your intake of starchy foods and fibre.These give you energy and help you feel fuller for longer, stopping the temptation to snack mid-morning. Oats also contain lots of vital vitamins and minerals.

TAKE WINTER SPORTS TO HAVE ACTIVE BODY AND MIND

Winter weather offers a wide range of fun activities to do that can involve the whole family. Try a new winter sport like ice skating, skiing, snowboarding or even sledging. Taking up a new activity is good to keep your body and mind fresh and active in winter.

When it is cold and wet, it can be very tempting to remain inside – but it is vital to your wellbeing to get outdoors. Even in winter it is important to breathe fresh air and expose your skin to daylight to help your body produce Vitamin D , to keep your bones healthy and support your immune system.
