Vivo v5 plus with its First Impression-A Review

After launching it’s mobile Vivo V5 last year and now with in few months, this company has unveiled it’s latest smartphone Vivo V5 Plus with few updated features, this brand new mobile will be available in the market both in offline and online from February 1 at price Rs.27,980. This chinese company has launched the new latest smartphone in India.

Since it is a selfie trend all give preference for front camera features. Like all other Vivo mobiles, this latest mobile also has the best camera features. This mobile has dual camera setup specially designed for selfie lovers. The mobile has a thin frame so it can be handled even with one hand. This mobile resembles iPhone 7 in some of it’s design features, especially the antenna lines at the rear part of the mobile at the top as well as at the bottom. However the design of th mobile has a good quality buildup. Vivo V5 Plus has 5.5 inch Full HD display screen. The smartphone measures 152.8×74.00×7.26mm and weighs 158.6g.

The rear camera is placed at the top left of the rear and the finger print sensor is placed at the home button in the front, while the power button and the volume rocker are placed on the right. And Now the considering the Volume the speaker grille along with the 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port are placed at the bottom.

Vivo V5 Plus has a Unibody metal aluminium body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. And on the front is the highlight at the top that is the “dual setup front camera”,with 20MP +8MP sensors. This 8MP captures depth-of-field images. This combination allows users to take lick selfies with a ‘bokeh’ effect, which was recently made popular by the iPhone 7 Plus (albeit with its rear cameras). Users can even adjust the area of focus for the effect after a shot is taken.

As a rear camera it has 16MP with a LED flash, this is not so notable and looks similar to the other cameras. But the clicks in the dim light are not so impressive. Based on this the company has stated that they will withstand this at the final review.

The Vivo V5 Plus runs with the “Funtouch OS 3.0 ” based on the Andriod 6 marshmallow. It is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snap dragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is powered by a 3160 mAh battery, but it does not promise for the fast charging of the mobile. It has 64GB internal storage and it’s memory can be expandable with the micro SD cards. In terms of connectivity, the V5 Plus offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. Even though the Vivo V5 Plus’ speaker volume gets quite loud, we didn’t find the sound quality on the smartphone to be all that impressive.
