LinkedIn’s New Desktop Design Reveals to be a Social-Friendly Design for User

LinkedIn has come up with its new desktop design, which has new key features and improvements. The is calling it as a ‘biggest redesign since inception’. This new website design is an inspiration from Facebook.

The new design looks less fuddled, at first glance. The Home page looks in a new way,that it has new feed in the front and all the navigation tools on the top right. On the desktop the navigation bar is simplified to seven areas such as Home(News Feed),Messaging, Jobs, Notifications, Me, My Network, an Search.

Now we can simultaneously chat and Navigate through the website simultaneously. The chat box has made more interesting now.The profile page follow a pleasing design,that has an automated profile summary that the LinkedIn provides according to the credentials provided by us in the profile. You can even edit your summary before publishing it in the profile.

LinkedIn also notes that the website now has a more ‘intuitive search’ and a ‘richer News Feed’.

With a combination of algorithms and human editors working together, we’ve fine-tuned your Feed to surface the most relevant content from people and publishers you care most about. We’ll also be adding new ways for you to dive deep into specific topics relevant to you and follow trending stories,” the company explains on its blog.

This new features make the users to stick in more to the website,either to visit the website only for job search. This company states that this design is a global one and reaches everyone in the coming weeks.
